I think Percy deserves a grand and appropriate name, to go with his stately manner.
He is now officially Sir Purrs-a-Lot.

I was there too, on Friday. Much to my disappointment, I'm only mildly a witch. Did you see the document recording the interrogation of John/Eleanor Rykener?

From what I've seen, if it's forbidden, half the people on here are breaking the rules!

Percy has made himself right at home. I love the way he purrs *all the time*. Phoebe, though, is Not Impressed.

Pamela Belle, author of the 'Heron' and 'Wintercombe' quartets, set in 17th century Britain, and more recently 'A Parcel of Rogues' and 'The Supposed Sister', the first two of a series set in early 18th century London, featuring some people you'd like to meet, and some you definitely wouldn't!

Thin tabby cat in cattery.
Tomorrow, I collect Percy. He's somewhere between 14 and 17 and has been living rough for four years, but he's in surprisingly good shape, though terribly thin. He'll have a warm bed, lots of good food, and tons of love. I hope Phoebe will take to him, though it might take a while!

And here's the second in the series - The Supposed Sister.

Five months ago, I published my first novel for more than 25 years! A Parcel of Rogues is the opener in a series, set mainly in early 18th century London, but with forays to Bath, Bristol and (in book 2), Rye. Available on Amazon as an e-book or paperback. www.amazon.co.uk/Parcel-Rogue...

Oh, and I promise not to post too many pictures of cats. Well, not so many. Well, a few. Here's Phoebe.

I've already seen several friends here! Hoping to bring my books to a wider audience, and have some fun and meet people along the way.
