Also it’s super fun to introduce Dean to all these movies he hasn’t seen. They’re what sparked my love of movies. I’ve always loved a good book/story and to see them play out on screen is so fun.

They need to make good screenplays out of great books again. Watching back these 90’s movies based out of John Grisham’s novels and man. They really do not write the same as they used to. They don’t sit with characters anymore either.

Yeah I clocked the plot as soon as she went and talked to the woman. The ending was darker than I thought it’d go but did it well.

The Woman in the Yard was *really* good. I was quite surprised I haven’t heard more about it. Maybe because the heart of it is commentary on the intersectionality of depression and motherhood.

The 2016 Pete’s Dragon remake is so good. (Nothing like the original FYI) Robert Redford is fantastic in it too. It’s such a sweet movie.
