I realised Iโve never posted a picture of me and my partner on here. This is me and Ismar earlier this year, while visiting my mum and her boyfriend in Spain.
The two of us are planning on getting married next year, which feels strange for us queer poly weirdos. But also kind of nice. ๐

It's hard not to take the bait... Over on Masto I just had a cishet woman tell me that it's only men who are responsible for trans and queerphobia, and when I (nicely) pointed out the existence of a certain billionaire children's book author she grew hostile.
Like, way to prove your point, I guess?
If queer and trans authors got just half the press attention of your average grumpy cis writer, the world would be a very different place indeed.

The article references my concept of ambitopia at the end. I'm really pleased to see people engaging with the idea of moving past the traditional utopia-dystopia binary.

All the examples I'd seen were faint and fey. Androgyny is often portrayed as small, femme, even dainty. How could I be 6'6" (198cm) and genderqueer?
