This is going to be the last Homestuck thing I post on my timeline, just to give everyone an idea where I'm at as this game's director. We're wrapped and I'm moving back from the fandom once I fulfill a couple last obligations.

Weirdly enough, I actually prefer the original music to the remix - the vibe is so good and the remixed music just kinda feels overwhelming in the game's soundscape, especially in Hexen

Hexen + Heretic is such a solid... remaster feels like a strong word, but re-release. Lot of smooth quality of life stuff, but very much keeping the feel of the original games, plus a couple neat new episodes to play.

I didn't play much Heretic as a kid but Hexen was my SHIT so it's good to be back

I loved Hexen as a kid - never played Heretic as much but I respect what it's doing a lot!

Austin was the same way - a little city center and a lot of what feels like extended dense suburbs right outside of that. It's not really "walkable" in any meaningful sense of the word and the public transportation is terrible.

But also there's been like two or three people who really had that ability (permanently - chi-blockers can do it temporarily) so it's effectively not a problem unless your party decides they really wanna fight the Avatar (not advisable).

We play a game in the Avatar: Legends system where it's possible to seal someone's bending away using various methods (albeit very difficult), but I don't think you can remove the potential ability completely.

As to what happens - depends on the individual. Some people adapt better than others.
