1/ I’m not 100%, but I think this number is based on exposure to fraud (ie if every provider was engaged in massive fraud). And we know that simply is not true. In fact, so far they’ve come up with nada on the alleged childcare fraud.

I live in Minneapolis and personally know 6 people who’ve been pulled over/had interactions with ICE. All of them are citizens. Care to guess their ethnicities? Spoiler alert: Not white.

S. Mpls resident here. They’ve definitely changed tactics, but they’re still here. I think the word from on high is no more public executions, at least for now. They are more present in the suburbs, where resistance is more diffuse. They also travel in smaller convoys, making them harder to spot.

I would guess they already have (or could quickly ramp up) the requisite missile technology and would not need subs. Since DPRK (and to a lesser degree China) are their main threats, short/medium range missiles would suffice, and that's basically 1950's technology.

Shoutout to the late, great Charles de Gaulle, who basically predicted all this 60 years ago, and positioned France for this eventuality.

I mean in fairness, credit card rates are borderline predatory, especially for poor/middle class people who have to carry a balance. That being said, this definitely seems like the heavy hand of the government interfering in the free market.
