Yeh, same. I get tired just looking at it.

This is about confronting the fear of the unknown, and learning to accept outcomes.

Been going through some stuff (not great) but it’s been giving me some motivation to work through my feelings with illustration.

So, I don’t know… does this make me a failed artist? Or is this just the reality of living in a world where we have to adapt to survive.

I went back to school in my twenties for art… but the thing it mostly taught me was that I had potential. It helped me shift my perspective, and reinterpret my perceived flaws.

To be honest, there are much better artists out there, or at least more professional artists who take their work seriously. I do it for fun, and expression.

But, to be honest I’m okay with that. It’s always been hard to apply my love for illustration towards monetary gain. Honestly, it’s very emotionally taxing to even finish a composition when there’s money and deadlines involved.

I’ve been reconciling with the idea that my professional title has ultimately shifted away from being an *just* an artist

Just thinking about how Doug’s neighbors were D.I.N.K’s… named Mr. and Mrs. Dink.

Wonder if that was intentional (I just learned the acronym DINK like yesterday…)

The active disdain I have for this image… I could write an essay.

My friend mentioned Dungeon Meshi here and there when we talked, so I gave it a try.

But, Dandadan? It was entirely because I kept seeing this tiktok dance of a Momo cosplayer and the banana aliens dancing to “Back on 74” and I needed context.

It just sucks that I can feel the insecurity and anxiety seep back in. But, I’m trying to embrace how far I’ve come despite the setbacks.

I disengaged from the world. But, I’m slowly, steadily returning to it. Driving again, reconnecting with old friends, caring about work, caring about my health…

It’s not so much that I hated myself. It’s simply that for a long time I was pretty much in survival mode. I’m learning how to be a person again…

I was always somewhat insecure, but over the last few years, especially after everything with my eye. I’ve really struggled with loving myself.

But one of the biggest challenges now is trying to regain my confidence as like, a person.

Since last year, my health has really improved and I don’t feel like my disability prevents me from being independent.

I forgot that Elon got forced to buy twitter because he’s an idiot who does not understand business…

Same. I got into dungeon Meshi kind of late, and w/o a lot of knowledge going in.

I thought it was a complete 26 episode series, wasn’t expecting a cliffhanger.

It’s nice that Dandadan came out so soon after I had finished binging.

In 20 years when 80% of Florida has sunken below sea level it’s because someone decided to invest capital into AI mango that speaks brain rot. Cool.

Going back to the office in 2025, can’t wait to find my fart corner.

Netflix is rly hitting it out of the park when it comes to anime, Dandadan and Dungeon Meshi feel like the only two newer anime that have spoken to me in *years*.

This is what working in marketing has done to my brain.

Ever since reading this headline I periodically repeat “Chebonshur & Lowshebin” like a Gregorian Chant while doing stuff.

I know a lot of people have been migrating to Bluesky, which is cool. But i find the prospect of curating my feed on a new app kinda daunting. -_-
