If day jobs are over, will everybody get universal basic income, or we’ll just switch to night jobs instead? 🤔

I usually see people using a dropdown. Or if you really want to keep the right click, then maybe a showing a tooltip on hover could work. But that’s not too tablet/phone friendly. 🤔

Cool, but how do people find out about this? Besides inspecting and maybe saving images I never right click on anything on the web. 🙂

I generally like reading more about the process and the challenges. Less interested about description of features, although the “why a feature exists” might be an interesting subject.

One project and one and a half job. It’s not so easy to make progress. 🥲💪 But one step at a time, no matter how small it is.

Once I heard an interesting phrase: “there is a difference between having 10 years of experience and 10 times 1 year of experience”. Because some people just repeat the same thing they learned the first year, over and over, and never actually grow.

Lately, I’ve been observing how people around me interact with modern tech. Most are barely scraping by. They’re faced with confusing interfaces, bloated features they’ll never use, and walls of marketing speak.

It’s easy to forget: we’re building for them, not just ourselves.

I write whenever I feel like I can share something. Which is not many times, as it is visible from my profile. 😅 But yeah, when the inspiration comes I just post my raw thoughts.

I try to have. But I think I let life disturb my plans too many times. Sometimes I slow down, and I definitely notice that I'm just dilly-dallying instead of making real progress. And those are the times, when I write down my plans.

Is Scaleway any good nowadays? A few years back they had many issues, especially with VPSs not being available for purchase and lacking customer support.

I definitely agree. Although, I like reading some wisdom here and there, even if it is general, but I definitely added the build in public feed to my feeds to see what other people are building.

Sometimes I feel like the “fake it until you make it” culture went too far. Nowadays you’ll see influencers lying about multiple things just to sell their content/project/whatever. I’ve seen this happen multiple times.

But anyway, as I mentioned, it is great help with other things. 👍

I frequently get suggestions to use packages that don’t exist, it calls methods that either don’t exist or the parameters are incorrect, it gives buggy code that at first works in simple cases, but falls apart later, etc. If it works for you, great! But for my use case it’s not good enough yet.

It’s quite an interesting idea, I like how it is represented. But why is the eye covering dude sad? Flip that frown. 😄

Nowadays I started using AI for multiple different things. Although for coding it is not perfect yet, but I can quickly have a brainstorming session with it about different ideas, which is great, especially as a solo founder.

I regularly forget the syntax for links. Is it square brackets first or second? 🤔😅
