To each their own. I found much of the soundtrack to be frustratingly meandering and often having little to do with Donkey Kong-- appropriate for the game. There have been good DK OSTs made by someone other than David Wise, yet I can't help but think it funny that an indie DK got him instead of Nin.

Thus far, I've just played Windswept in terms of DKC-likes, but I have had my eyes on Nikoderiko, esp since they managed to get David Wise on board for it (Truly doin' what Nintendon't)
