The notes say it was an accidental mix of NWW created by malfunctioning tape machines. Sounds like Sun Ra, John Zorn, and Lee Perry jamming. 🤯

Even though I seem to remember owning this, I always wondered which was the band name and which was the album title. Thanks for finally clearing that up for me. Seriously.

I guess because I mentioned it in the extra notes hidden in the alt text of the image. There was a bad Kinks live album I checked out from the library that reminded me of ST trying to rock arenas in the late 80s long after they had made themselves irrelevant.

Examples of this are albums by Bob Dylan, Elvis Costello, and The Kinks. Bob Dylan's album Dylan (1973) Wikipedia: "Due to its lack of original material and 'bizarre' choice of tracks, Dylan is often considered one of Dylan's weakest albums." Elvis Costello's King of America (1986) which is not a good EC album to start off with if your trying to get into his music as a teenager. Too moody and complex and not punk at all. The Kinks' Live: The Road (1988) which chronicled the band's live show at their most uninteresting point and makes you wonder if Spinal Tap is based on the Kinks.

To speak autobiographically, when I was in high school, I had to check out LPs from the library to listen to music. It was always the lamest album of any specific artist. I think that maybe estates donated records to the library after someone died, and what they died of was listening to bad music.

On an everyday living note, I noticed that the knobs on my GE electric stove can be turned off with a loud click or silently, depending on your touch. Other members of household only know about the loud click, so it's the difference between a "supper's ready" signal and "my secret midnight ramen."

My experience of mashing up Lovecraft with other mythos:
