Yesterday, we took a step further - the ageing of society and the questions it raises policies from social protection to care on one side and the conditions for younger people to thrive demands that we stop talking in silos.
The Forum shall reduce these.

Vor kurzem hat der #UN Ausschuss festgestellt, dass auf EU-Ebene Handlungsbedarf besteht. Unter anderem weil #Frauen mit Behinderungen, die überproportional Gewalt ausgesetzt sind, nicht hinreichend in EU-Reglungen berücksichtigt werden.

Heute vor 17 Jahren trat die UN-Behindertenrechtskonvention (UN-BRK) erstmals international in Kraft.

Seitdem haben auch Deutschland und die #EU die #UNBRK ratifiziert.

Die UN prüft die Umsetzung der UNBRK in einzelnen Ländern und auf #EU-Ebene regelmäßig.

El envejecimiento es también una oportunidad. Tenemos que escuchar la voz de nuestros mayores.
