A green-blue thick-leaved succulent with purpleish markings on the edge and center of the leaves. A pale flower stem rises from the side and squiggles around the page above the main plant. Small leaves sparcely cover the stem and pink and white triangular flowers line it. The end of the stem is covered in green buds.

I love fossils that tell a story. This little horn coral, Heliophyllum halli, from the Hungry Hollow Mb. of Ontario shows rebudding. The main coral head was damaged or buried and grew 2 new buds. It found a way to survive.

This is one of the most stunning crinoids in my collection. Gennaeocrinus mourantae from the Devonian Arkona Fm. of Ontario. A large pocket of these were found decades ago and very few have been found since.
