They are a very well organised group. But I think at the least withdrawing children from school when there are serious concerns needs to be prevented- how can it be a good idea?

I was attendance/safeguarding lead in a LA until 2011. I raised issues with DfE at various meetings/ events about EHE and the need for registration in the context of children missing education. DfE were, it seemed, running scared of the Education Otherwise lobby.

Recent paper- with unexpected and puzzling results. No surprise many parents were anxious or depressed. Did not expect lower levels of empathy and skill from workers with those parents
