My son is timeblind

The only way he can get a bus to be home "on time" involves at least ten texts/ reminders/ calls

(Aka real-time coaching to get to the bus station, then stop etc)

9 times out of ten, he's still late

What *does* help ADHD people is, after a long process of unlearning unhealthy coping strategies and shame, a lot of time actively practicing arbitrary forms of self control, until you can do them with more intentionality, and a lot of time building discomfort tolerance.
