From the archives in 1992, Tim Axon discusses the trend of New Age believers misappropriating aspects of modern physics

This is the episode I trailed on Tuesday. In it, you'll hear Joe frame the killing of Alex Pretti in terms of the 'rampant' fraud in Minnesota, speculate as to the gun misfiring, and do his upmost to make it clear that everyone was to blame for the killing, other than the men who pulled the trigger.

9-year-old Maria Antonia Guerra Montoya, detained on her way to Disney World, spent 113+ days at Dilley.

These are reports from concentration camps. There is no two ways about it.

They are very young and you need both of your parents when you are growing up. Since I got to this Center all you will feel is sadness and mostly depression. When people have their courts the longest they will last is 15 minutes, our rights are not being provided, arrest are happening when people don’t even have any type of order, arrests are happening illegally. Its sad to hear that peoples case are being denied and are getting send back to their country places where they are escaping from and are looking for protection and want to feel safe. Not a lot of people know what is happening in the Centers where immigrants are placed at. I haven’t been getting any school time. Every single person in here had their jobs they had their lifes, they aren’t any danger for this Country."

Since the day my mom and I get detained in Manhattan NY, my life was instanly paused, from my knowledge you can’t be under custody for more than 15 or 20 days, well here in Dilley Immigration Processing Center people have been in this place for 7 months, 5 months, 4-2 months, its not fair that the ICE officers are not following the laws. All kids are being damage mentally, they witness how the’ve been treated. They don’t have schools, doctor, all they have are nurses, if you need medical attention the longest you have to wait is 3 hours, but to get any medicine, pill, anything it takes a while, there are various viruses people are always sick. Serious situations happen and the officers can’t take them serious enough there are no consecuenses, they don’t care."

This ep makes a few things clear, and is really worth your time:
- Joe Rogan will do anything other than blame ICE for the killing of civillians
- The media stories about Joe criticising ICE were wrong
-He's gone out of his way to interview a right wing troll to prove that
- Joe is v Christian now

I mean that sincerely. Like, Krauss hasn’t been welcome at a skeptical event in the UK since before the 2018 Buzzfeed article. Shermer, to my knowledge, hasn’t spoken in the UK since I’ve been involved in skepticism, and he only really speaks at events he organises now - for this reason.

Honestly, I’m not sure of any who haven’t? Like, I’m in the Buzzfeed reporting on Krauss, and have publicly criticised MS and RD. Mike too, and QED, SITPO, the Scathing Atheist and Cog Diss folk, Thomas Smith… I’m genuinely not sure who in the skeptic movement hasn’t. CFI, but they are the RDF

Not to go all Anti-Free Speech, but the guy who started this argument publicly was back on Question Time last week, and a prominent supporter of it has a decent chance of winning a by election. Those two facts are connected.

Weird things that have happened to me this week:
1) appearing the Epstein files as Krauss brainstormed with Epstein how to discredit me
2) logging into the Cursed Site to find a noted transphobe casually transvestigating me, in a “I have imagined some things about him and they were disgusting” way.

More specifically, we were at TAM London, herded as part of the audience into a lecture theatre to watch Graham Linehan give a rambling interview, before he and the other speakers (and, and their mates) shuffled into the VIP room and we were herded out. We thought ‘that’s not what this should be’.

That’s genuinely exactly what we did.
