I’ve been wheezing all morning and had to break out my inhaler. The air quality index is high today because of fireworks, apparently. Fireworks!

Easter is an important day for many people. For me, it’s a reminder that Watership Down was not a fun kid’s movie, Mom, no matter the animated fluffy bunnies on the front.

I took my longest walk yet yesterday. My knees hurt and I’m still nearly (nearly!) too tired to knit. Almost relieved the weather is too poor for another walk today. But I did have a lovely companion on part of my walk in the form of a neighbor dog named Oreo!

Spring is nearly here. It’s so beautiful. I can’t wait to spend time outside!

*sneezes uncontrollably for 10 minutes*

…Ah, right. I’m allergic to everything that blooms.

Guess it’s going to be another year of me, my books and yarn, and glorious air conditioning.

Current act of escapism. Glad to see this series getting more popular. Also managed to finish knitting a pair of socks. So far sticking to finishing two WIPs before casting on something new. Current WIP count: 14. #knitting #reading #dungeoncrawlercarl

Thank you. I’m a contractor with the govt. Reading a book about the history of reality tv was probably a bad choice on my part for escapism. Too many mentions of certain competitive reality show stars.
