its difficult to share details, especially when a lot of what happened isn’t mine TO share. but—

I am safe and I am surrounded by friends I know I can trust, and I am confident I can move past this now given time and more honest perspective. so…yeah. I hope everyone has a nice night.

I mostly post this because I need to get the thought of it off my chest in general, and to issue a general apology if we talked more regularly before and stopped. I let a lot of connections atrophy in this circumstance, and I am trying to fix things where I can. I promise it likely wasnt you.

it turns out that this past year has been filled with a lot of dishonesty thats caused me to isolate myself from both friends and communities I’d been active in at large because I’d been told my presence wasnt wanted. I was discouraged from mentioning I was fired from a venue I helped start and more

there’s a very fine line between a vague post and a call out post but I feel like I should say something because I’m exhausted:

tonight I had to finally block someone I considered a close friend because his behavior towards me got to a point there was real life concern for my real life safety.

I miss putting mixtapes and playlists onto cds……..

I have dyed her hair before!!! I did her first bleach job!! but it’s still making me crack up

I think it’s very cute that kids I used to babysit for who are too embarrassed to call me their babysitter will still try to introduce me to their friends given opportunity. I just got called a middle schoolers hair dresser

GOD I REMEMBER THIS -- he wanted to use my bathroom bc he got high as hell at the college kid bar down the street and i was so mortified because i knew nobody in that call very well. he can be very stupid sometime but i love him dearly

i can at least be assured that "good older sister" is on the list of accomplishments in this lifetime 🥹

he and his friends used our place as a pitstop before a concert and made a point to come say hi to me despite the fact i was In Bed for pain reasons so he could show me his makeup and talk about his week. and also yelled up the final BYE I LOVE YOU for everyone to hear on the way out

very heartwarming that my little brother (who is undeniably cooler than i am and always will be and i am proud of him for that) still thinks im cool too, despite it all

begrudgingly. I know he’s gonna find a way to be rude about it :/
