We'll be happy if they finally get a government coalition there, don't ask too much of them π

The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing.
We'll be happy if they finally get a government coalition there, don't ask too much of them π
05.10.2025 07:53 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Generally these kinds of coalitions never last very long
04.10.2025 17:44 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So like...this looks like nobody can form a functioning majority. Or will there be attempts to get a minority government to function?
04.10.2025 17:43 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 2 π 1Here we tend to assume our own incompetence before malice π

But I haven't seen anyone either claiming it or pointing at a culprit? It just kinda disappeared between all the other news
Do we know if the recent cyber attack on belgian and German airports had anything to do with the russians?
27.09.2025 07:45 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I still think most, if not all their nukes have become useless. Through underfunding, corruption, and brain drain.
If he still had confidence in his arsenal I'm sure he would've at least exploded one in some russian desert by now, as a show of force.
Tiktok is arguably the best cyberweapon the Chinese ever made
14.09.2025 17:03 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0But as far as we know the North Koreans don't have nukes.
(However I do think there's some solid arguments to be made that the russians don't really have any working/deployable ones left either.)
Ever since we saw Prigozhin do his little raid, I remain convinced that if we let them, the Poles alone could drive to moscow. Or the Finnish or Swedes. And certainly if we all work together.
13.09.2025 18:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Some breadtube discord, bet they're all calling him based atm
12.09.2025 16:22 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0First the communists took the bait and I did nothing because I wasn't a communist.
Then the unionists took the bait and I did nothing because I wasn't a uinionist.
Then the Jews took the bait and I did nothing because I wasn't a jew.
Then I took the bait, when there is no one left to eat it for me
And then when there is no reaction, no rage or condemnation, they'll just try something more extreme next time.
Sometimes it's better to take the bait (and have the analogous conversations) than to wait until the bait becomes unavoidable.
He held the 2nd amendment in such high regard... truly a man of principle

They already have plenty of martyrs, trump is the biggest martyr of them all, because he's always the victim of everything.
I remember when even Epstein was a martyr for the rightoids...
I hope it will remain a short term investment.
Because after covid we're all in a lot of debt already....
And the potential destruction of our western welfare state could be a lot more damaging than putin can ever hope to be π¬
On the other side of the coin, this is a big reason liberals and centrists are failing in so many places. They refuse to deny, ridicule or ban far-right ideas, rather they adopt them in "light" versions in hopes of cheap electoral success. But then people just vote for the real thing instead π
30.08.2025 20:30 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0They've been voting for various different protest parties for a while now.
I'm mostly glad the VVD is finally going down.
Hopefully the centrist and left wing parties can finally get a majority coalition without them
We will not miss them
However europe needs to pick up the pace in space too, currently we rely way too much on one crazy billionaire....
Wow, their actually doing something productive, who would've thought

If they want to allow more ukranian migration it'll have to be called something else, or be done sneakily
As far as i'm aware the projected collapse of the russian economy was always predicted in 2026 π€
Seems to be pretty much on track no?
It's like a car, it won't stop driving until the tank is empty. But right before then, it still looks fine.
It'd definitely benefit our armies.
We just got our first MQ-9B, a 20 year old platform, to start working with....
The Houthis can take these down...
We spent 600 million on 4 of these...
Instead we could've sent people to Ukraine to learn actual modern drone warfare for cheaper.
At least Chamberlain got something....

Hopefully the midterms will at least swing the house. That should at least prevent some of the worst things π€

15.08.2025 19:44 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Most countries will not hit the 3.5% because they'll bank on the revision in 2029 (when the orange man has left) to give them a pass.
And even if the 2029 change of plans isn't that generous...a bunch didn't even hit 2% when it was the norm either π€·
