Fun in sun this morning at Longstone for our volunteers.

More planting to come, a huge thanks to CMS Law for funding the trees through their social impact fund.

All people at my work place do is complain about the parking, it's relentless. But suggest they use the free bus, or cycle, or walk and it's instantly shouted down as a stupid suggestion which will never fix the issue. I know people who can see the site from their house, and still drive.

A humidifier on the sink in front of a bathroom mirror. The combination of small "on" and "full" lights above a wide curved vent make a pleasant smiling face and on the back of the humidifier, which can be seen in the mirror, another wide curved air vent and the two screws holding it together above it make a horrified face.

When the hospital estates team need to close a section of carpark for a weekend, we get multiple all-staff emails informing and reminding us.

When they close a busy secure bike shed with capacity for 100 bikes, that's frequently full, we get this the day before:

OrbΓ‘n’s pay cheques: Reform candidate fuelled by profits from Russian oil The Reform candidate at this month’s byelection claims he wants to put Britain first, but is he still on the payroll of Viktor OrbΓ‘n’s far-right propaganda unit?

Blimey. Looks like Matt Goodwin, who seems to think the Handmaid's Tale is an instruction manual, is in the pay of an Orban think tank, funded by Russian oil money.

And now...

I think people just don’t think about the β€œhidden” costs the NHS is having to pay to let you park your car. at our local hospital it even includes employing attendants to direct traffic at busy times.

I doubt the NHS paying poorer people to get free taxis or buses to hospitals would have such popular support.
