The Academy won't show Oscar-nominated films to members on the big screen, only at-home screeners (due to low attendance). C'mon voting members. You can't complain about the slide of theatrical releases if even you won't go to them. I went! (see pics)

GOOOOOO Susan! As the understudy for Meredith in KID GLOVES last night, she rocked! So proud of her, she was laser focused, sang like a champ and was FUNNY. It'd be terrible if something bad happened to one of the actors she's covering, like they get into some kind of accident...

FINALLY got to the JAWS exhibit at The Academy Museum! Simply one of the greatest movies ever made, and it has kept millions of people from swimming for FIFTY YEARS. Perhaps the movie with the most social impact ever. If you've never done it, I recommend taking the guided tours. Free with admission!

Saturday I cashed in a gift Susan got me: high tea at The London Hotel in West Hollywood! If you want a classy afternoon with good food & drink, I can recommend this in a big way. We did high tea last spring overseas and she paid attention to how much I enjoyed it. Well done, Susan.
You are not alone. Wait...that sounds condescending, but it's not. I have the same pointless nonsense in my leg and there was NO inciting incident, which is frustrating as hell. I'll even be sitting, doing NOTHING and it flares. Anyway, feelin' you....carry on.

I’ve watched/listened to this every day 5 days straight. 10 years gone is hard to believe. The command that band has over the audience, the trance Bowie puts the fans in, and the SOUND that Ronson puts out in the finale. Some of the best rock and roll I can think of.

Sights from recent Ghostbuster parties:
- Look at the disrespect shown poor Slimer.
- In the ECTO-1, people honk at me and give me a thumbs up. On this day, I got out-honked-at by a newlywed couple!
- I support the kid who created marshmallow people roasting marshmallows. Dark, but awesome!
Susan's in a show! She's the understudy for the female roles so who knows when she'll go in, EXCEPT - Feb. 5th! That show's guaranteed to feature her in a musical about a reality show about children's entertainers who are mostly horrible people.

Last week I got to tour Nickelodeon Animation Studios in Burbank and it's a whole campus (doesn't look that way from the street)! You'll need to weasel your way in with a special event or screening but if you ever get in - worth it!
They've got a movie theater! How have I not been here yet?
