Goooood lord this would be a fun story to write and the outrage would be delicious.

Cars are going electric, and European carmakers are going to have to compete with Chinese - and Korean - EVs in export markets even if they don't at home. So maybe this will do the German industry more harm than good in the end?

Can you imagine if Russia attacked and seized a UK vessel in international waters & kidnapped the people on board, including UK citizens, and the only response from the UK govt was to say that's "a matter for the Russian govt".

I guess this simply confirms that my Rebellion! project, exploring and celebrating the importance of peaceful protest as part of our cultural identity, in the face of draconian anti-protest legislation, has never been more timely.

This is how it feels to me too.

Does it have to be this rightward-lurching sh*t all the time? Can't we have politicians who can tell us how life can be better, nicer? Offer us some hope?

Please don't eulogise Norway. Its rapid EV take-up is in large part greenwashing, covering up (and SUBSIDIZED BY) massive ongoing oil and gas extraction -- with dozens of new exploration and production licences continuing to be issued.

If Climate Change wasn't REAL, there'd be no reason for the censorship.
