Just decided to do a sketch of Elster in a romper and sun hat because that's what I was wearing that day and robots in clothes are cute.

Ceres and Sofia holding each other close in a waltz, with Ceres in her kit and equipment while Sofia is in a messy and torn white sundress. They are both heavily injured: Ceres having exposed cyborg internals and profuse head bleeding, Sofia hesvily bandaged having peeled skin and makeshift gauze alongside bleeding and developing gangrene from frostbite on her hands (unseen- also legs). They look in each other's eyes lovingly as they stand within the trinket that Sofia was contained in for the entire war, shooting stars passing behind them in the twilight Kishar sky.

Dancing together at the end of the world, together again for the first time in almost a decade: Ceres Aavik and Sofia Natali at the end of the war, the end of ACT I, in EoTO (the Signalis inspiration is striking).

If I don't seem to respond, look like I post often, or otherwise have much of a presence then that is by design- I have been intentionally been cutting out most forms of social media so that I'm not so chronically online and glued to scrolling down my feed when I'm remotely bored. Everything is ok!

Ceres is laying alone in bed aboard The Oracle, solemnly checking in on her fiance in her internment. Ceres seemingly does so by checking in on a small pocket device with a color screen, which shows Sofia looking back at Ceres with a cheerful smile and a heart in a speech bubble. Seeing this, Ceres smiles softly at the device.

A quick comic I made from a moment during EoTO where Ceres was checking in on her wife, and smiling for once as a result.

B+W render of Sofia and Ceres asleep with the former leaning on the latter's shoulder, similar to the memory aboard the Penrose of Elster and Ariane. Also similarly to Signalis's story, this night for Ceres and Sofia occurred just before the one that led to the chain of events that brought Ceres into 998 and took Sofia away from her.

My partner had her PC in EoTO be inspired by Elster anyways (and her partner by Ariane), but I hadn't drawn them together in Signalis-inspired ways, so here's Ceres (L) and Sofia (R) clearly inspired by Signalis.

After stalling for 3 years, I finished Signalis. I was left pretty inspired and depressed for an entire weekend over the story. I did this quick sketch of Elster and Ariane based on the secret ending.

It's not, that person is ridiculous and is probably just some white American who wishes they were oppressed. Y'all is just a contraction between you and all. Over here in US it's seen as commonly used by regional dialecet or subcultures but w/e its not like bubbler vs. water fountain it's "you all".

The ceiling light looks like a halo around his head in a strange way, like how in old Byzantine art depicting anyone who was seen as divine or holy would have a gold leaf halo behind their head (often saints, Mary, and baby Christ). Art history infodump lol.

I think that depends from person to person just how much that kinda thing might wrack their brain. My only deal is just wanting the loving and accepting moral to my stories to be shared with more people so they know that they're loved and that they matter.

I already had them blocked ig so I must've gotten the prior inclination that this indeed was the case with this person.

I can't say this isn't also how I design characters at times, tho I prefer to keep people guessing and drop hints here and there like "did you know they were visually inspired by (blank)?" to build some intrigue 😊 as most times ppl are like "yeah now that you mention it, I can see it that's cool"

I empathize with that too. In human rights' regards, I'm much less shy and actually almost a bit too outspoken (and take to art as a vector for cathartic release and emotional portrayal). Community and solidarity are important. You're absolutely right 💖

It's why I encourage my social circle to think critically and preserve a healthy skepticism, but be open to receive new information in the first place (and share w/ the class for later talks). I'm not obligated to be someone's Google on a topic I know insufficient info about just b/c they asked me.

I tend to play the hardest difficulties in games for the most fun for me, especially ones I've never played before. Probably sensory seeking. Side effect is that it tells me which devs know how to make a balanced diff system or if they made "hard to be hard" stuff, latter isn't as replayable imo.

I played the OG for the first time like 2 ys ago. Profoundly amazing and super jank experience, I see why it's an immersive sim classic. From the insta killing crystal sword (I called the talking stick) to Xerxes itself spoiling the biggest plot twist within the first 5 mins of the game.

(non-canon) Dr. Peterson talks with Commander Ira about sending Poppy and Ceres into the GATE Facility. Ira is worried Poppy and Ceres are too unhinged to get out alive, despite Dr. Peterson's objections: Ira: "You sent them WHERE?" DrP: "Do not worry yourself, Poppy and Ceres can handle themselves." Ira: "I'm not worried about them DYING, I'm worried about them being too HORNY to complete the mission!" DrP: "I, yes, well...they otherwise are *competent* enough to handle themselves..." Pop: "If you lick it, I'll let you choke me next time. Cer: "Well...if that's what it'll take..."

Abiotic Factor was really fun. Easy recommend for a survival craft game.
