Always remember the two overriding smells of the sinter and the sulphur when working in Redcar. A few days and I smelt neither. Only visited the ICI plant once but spent months at British Steel as a contractor. Precips were my bag then.

That sain I do like my Columbian coffee. I find my Express Impress temperamental to dial in sometimes. There is some hysterysis on the grind setting. One notch down and then back 3 to get to the same. I aim for 2:1 ratio but on lighter roasts often 45-50ml out for 18g in seems to taste OK.

Tbh coffeeworks were secondary to a YouTube channel I watch. Coffee Kev started his channel in lockdown and turned out his company roasted beans. Got a massive discount on a sage machine from him and bean are pretty cheap too. We gave Stokes in Lincoln that are well known, but still more than Kevs πŸ‘

One thing I've learnt, I'm never happy πŸ˜‚ it's a great machine and easy to use. A little bit of overshoot on the grind settings but you allow for them. That said, I also crave a bit more control. I still manual tamp after the lever as sometimes it needs a tickle. Compared to my Gaggio it's ace πŸ‘

Great coffee to be fair. He also has some great dis out codes for Sage coffee machines. I saved around Β£150 on an Impress Express. Which beans did you go for, I'm back to Colombia Choc and Nut, but chocolate brownie is the most forgiving for me.

Through thick and thin tho, you can't change your team. My Dad supported them from nearby Bradford so I was obliged to follow suit. Now my 20yo does too and I didn't even have to persuade him. One visit and the atmosphere had him hook, line and sinker #alaw

Get the best of both worlds, move to North Yorkshire. Nice countryside, great shopping in Leeds and sometimes great football 😍

I get why it's loved the world over, but far outside of London, it's just so much better. I'm 150 miles north and I wouldn't swap it for the ole smoke anytime soon, just visit once or twice a year for shopping or footie πŸ˜‚

Let us all know how it's doing in 6 months time please? I bought a Fred Yakamoto one that's still doing OK but a mate reckons his Skull thing was blunt after 3 months. Wire wool head mebee πŸ˜‚

Absolutely, I'm sat with a Spurs supporter at home and he thought we deserved at least a draw and should have probably won. DCL will hopefully get sharper 🀞

The abuse has still been too much today even though it's less than yesterday. Feels like it's ground some of the Europeans down #rydercup

Yeah, I'm just not taking proper note of my queue position πŸ™„
if everyone who doesn't get thru in first round goes in ballot, that's still probably 10-15 times more that available seats. Deffo less 3 a d 4 together tho

That's very kind of you, thanks. He's 21 so not sure if he'll get past any AI camera checks but I do like a backup plan πŸ˜‚
My pal, who's not too well now is a life long spurs fan, so was hoping to drag him along to witness their pasting. May be a blessing in disguise and save me the 160 miles tho

Missed out again. Reckon trying for 3 screws us over more than a 1 or 2. Will have to just make one stand on their own (the one that dunt sing?)

For my pension stuff, they used a docu-sign portal that you could either sign with a tablet pen or like me, create a signature jpg and add it to the sign box, then I could do it from my PC tooπŸ™‚

It’ll depend I think? Some receivers require a virtual signature which looks like you’ve physically signed it. Others just need an authenticated tick box, so to speak, where you have to first prove who you are, login and tick the box. 1/2
