But masking in healthcare facilities should be an easy ask.

Getting folks to mask when they’re sick should be an easy ask.

Cleaning the air should be an easy ask.

It’s time we adapt!

This government isn’t interested in keeping you safe and healthy, whether the threat is airborne illness, pollution, or wildfire smoke.

It would be wise to start listening to and supporting the disability justice and COVID aware communities, who’ve become skillful re: clean air and mask mutual aid:

Sometimes, I feel like everything is garbage & I get overwhelmed but then I imagine how I'd feel if I was a raccoon and suddenly, being surrounded by garbage isn't so bad. In fact, by raccoon standards, being surrounded by garbage is actually great. Life is about perspective.

I sure do wish everyone would stop arguing how productive autistic people are and thats why they have value because Jesus fucking Christ autistic people are valuable BECAUSE THEY ARE PEOPLE. Wild that we have to explain that still. Wild that people have almost zero basis for understanding disability

The US is trying to ban masks, mRNA vaccines, dismantle healthcare and social supports and arranging to keep lists of people with autism (and possibly other disabilities).

This is not how you tackle the chronic illness epidemic. This is how you begin a nationwide eugenics program.

Things that are currently reliable. Our pleasantly aromatic, bloomed (slightly early this year per my diligent record-keeping) for the season this past week, crabapple tree; me, perpetually confusing the foster and resident feline voids for inanimate objects (pillows, clothing, blankets, etc.). 🌳🌸🖤🐱

It’s hard to grieve what hasn’t died.
Friendships. Trust. Normalcy.
They’re still there—just not the same.
That’s called ambiguous loss.
And it’s everywhere now.
