Even now, I strive to live by those laws and I hope to use those to represent you well.

Today I went to an event by the Oxford NAACP. The focus was on Dr. MLK's dream through the generations. I listened to speeches from people from each generation focused on their experiences and their hopes for the future of Dr. MLK's dream. There is so much work left to do, but today, I am hopeful.
