Yes. All women are entitled to privacy, dignity and safety. Not just the ones you decide on.

Who is next out the door? Lesbians like in the 80's and 90's? Women of colour like in the 60's and 70's? Working class women like in the 40's and 50's? Irish women like in 20's and 30's?

1 in 5 trans people have suffered sexual assault or threats of sexual assault.

I don't doubt those facts but trans women aren't men and no amount of bigoted rhetoric will change that. Facts also show that cis people assault trans people far in excess of the reverse.

Furthermore; suggesting trans inclusion makes women unsafe is transphobic prejudice and not a statement of fact. It is also massively disingenuous to claim transphobia is inherent to all women and thus a legitimate boundary.

Gender Reassignment is a protected characteristic in UK law. The Supreme Court judgement did not remove gender as a recognised definition from UK law. It did not remove the Gender Recognition Act. It did not apply beyond the scope of the Equalities Act.
The judge said this was not a victory.

Literally not what the Supreme Court ruling was. It only related to the Equalities Act 2010 and only referred to the wording in the act itself. The judge acknowledged there is a wider social concept of womanhood that the ruling doesn't dictate.
