Another good Example of a game I enjoy but don't play? Zelda. That game is straight rage bait for me, Yes I get angry easily, but also it's just not my game. That doesn't make it a bad game. Games can be good without being *MY* game. And that's ok.

I enjoy watching people play games I would never (For example, poppy playtime and Amanda the Adventurer) not because the games are bad, i just don't think I would buy and play them honestly... So I watch streamers play them, or youtubers ... and yea. Some games aren't for me, but I still enjoy them.

How bout them trickle down economics. They tricklin' enough for ya?

I appreciate games who make space for those of us who panic when being attacked and say "ok I get you're here for a good time, not the challenging game play, so here's the settings you can change to make the game better for you"

So you know there are gamers out there who like the spooky games, who like the games that are lore rich, who aren't looking to make their life miserable while playing video games? Not everyone plays for a challenge. LOTS of people do, but not everyone.

Interesting. I find both uncomfortable. I am already thinking the criticisms, and I will over magnify what is said (because i'm harsh on myself) and compliments feel undeserved and uncomfortable.

buying a game on release usually means the game is something I know will be good no matter what. Otherwise I'm waiting.

I feel like it's also important to note that if I like a game, i will own it multiple ways. I had never played a persona game before and hopped into 5. I own that game like... 10 ways now. Spin off games, and I'm ok paying because I feel like i'm voting with $$ to say "this is good, more please"

The nice thing about *enjoying* being spoiled is that I can wait for sales. Games that I want right away are typical games I'm super hyped for, but even then I'm more willing to wait. I use guides, I like to try speed running tech, so waiting only has upsides.

Ok sometimes work sucks, but also sometimes it *FORCES* me to allow people to take control over stuff at home. Which I should do more often... and I get to hear things like Terra asking about Dragon Quest because it came out today and she wants to learn about it.

i'm tired of sneezing.

I'm shaking almost too hard to type. I entered SLC airport and heard screams and cries for help. I could see people gathered around, watching. I sped over to discover this woman face down on the floor, four grown men pushing her down, while she cried "HELP ME" and pled for her child.

But the biggest thing it's missing? Guns. Or some sort of projectile. I realize that 1960s japan, this teenage girl doesn't have access to a gun, but golly, I wish she did. A SLING SHOT? SOMETHING?!

it needs ranged combat, badly.

And that blows, but its generally solved by backing up and giving yourself some space. The combat is most challenging on the first play through (IMO) and then as you develop your character it gets better.

In talking with Yoshi, I have to acknowledge the biggest weakness SHf has, and that's combat. it's trash, it's the trashiest of trash. Sometimes you hit the wall, sometimes the weapon you're using is TOO BIG for the area you're in and you will (1000%) die because of it.

Oldest daughter (KCK) got a job at a card/board game shop (they also sell comics, minis, etc) and keeps seeing the FF magic the gathering cards and wants to do the tidus laugh... but no one there would get it. (apparently) But still, every time she sees it she does the HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAAA in her head.

SHf is just like that. You don't know what's real, or what the real story is, there's lots of endings and OMG I like the worst one.

So like, I'm back on my BS about loving Silent Hill f. It's so great. I seriously love the layers.

let me tell you a small story about Buffy (the vampire slayer) there's an episode where Buffy switches back and forth between being in "her world" and "another world" where she's in an asylum.
