With the drones there was chatter in online mil circles that IN and PK will need sometime to down kamikaze drones already in the air but if they're actually shelling each other, that's certainly a problem. For now both sides have made positive statements and seem to want the ceasefire to hold.

If we can have ceasefires between Ind/Pak and Rus/Ukr on the same day, it'll be truly momentous day after what feels like a really shit half decade.

Holy shit what the hell happened over the last 5 hours. This has been allowed to go on long enough. The international community needs to be more forceful with these two countries now before things heat up any more.

What's the end game here? India launched strikes into Pakistan, lost jets, that should have been it! But then it moved to launching drones, and now it's escalated to targeting airbases. I'm certain neither country wants a full scale war but with how things are going, I can't see how they can stop.

China is facing economic headwinds with the tariffs, Russia is in the 3rd year of their 2 week special military operation, and the entire US government is at the whims of a dementia addled reality TV character. There's no one pacify these two countries this time around, is there?

IN has their headline, PK got theirs, I sincerely hope with their egos stroked and bloodlust sated, calmer heads will finally have a chance to prevail and end this before things get further out of hand.

I fear that he's irreparably damaged politics in India, even after he's gone, his legacy will cast a long shadow. India today is indistinguishable from how it was in the 90s and early 2000s. Jingoism and group think have much more currency in political discourse now.
