I just don't know how long I can keep releasing stories in this environment.

Using real art gives me an advantage, sure. When my covers and ads are competing with that garbage, I stick out.

But it's so soul crushing to stick out for that reason. It really is.

Every day I see people encouragong each other to replace the art they did commission with AI because they think it'll perform better.

It is impossible to exist in this space without interacting with people who have the creative integrity of a bad soufflé.
