Switch 2 with this dbrand case+grip is excellent. Not sure I like it as much as the Hori full gamepad version for the Switch 1, but these pistol like grips for the joycons are solid as heck.

“Net decking” or “net listing” doesn’t have much skill or creativity to it and is frowned upon in many circles. It’s easy to find a list with the most expensive options you’d rarely have the luxury to own. Part of the fun is collecting and using what you’ve got creatively.

I do both! I’ve got a shop near me I can go play at, and a webcam setup similar to your sons using paper cards but play online.

The decklisting site is really useful for planning edits or sharing what you came up with as a build. You CAN play with just a digital list but it’s got a stigma.
