Please do not be alarmed. This #cat is NOT planning to fling herself from the top of the cabinet and pounce on the leftover chicken cooling on the counter. 100% not considering it, never even crossed her mind.

Do these two understand the concept of daylight savings?

No, definitely not.

But did they at least wait patiently for their breakfast this morning? Letting the human side of the family get an extra glorious hour of sleep?

Also, no.

Think we'll start the month with a lucky #ladybug. I originally thought this was a dill plant but someone let me know that it's fennel.

In light of #NationalCatDay Viscountess Lady Snickerdoodle Snugglebug wants to point out that while we’ve told her not to get on the counter no one mentioned getting in a bag that happened to be on the counter.

The fact that there were groceries in the bag is, to her, completely irrelevant. #cats

Back end of a bumblebee that's wriggling its way inside a light purple flower.

The theme of this week's #BlueSkyArtShow is #inside and on this dreary day, I'm sharing a shot from this summer. This bee was really focused on working its way inside the flower and it made me chuckle -reminds me of Winnie-The-Pook getting stuck in his door.

Monarch butterfly with small wings and big body seconds after emerging from its chrysalis.

This is the shot I've been waiting for! After watching #monarchs eclose the last few weeks, I finally caught one as it dropped out of the chrysalis. It only takes a few more minutes for the blood and other fluids to pump from its body to its wings - #nature is amazing!
