While there is valid criticism re:Deutsche Bahn, 99% of complaints seem to be "my ICE is late". People often forget that they do a lot of things right. I can think of several other countries which offer a far worse service/have a smaller network reach (looking at out neighbors to the east and west)

There should be some EU laws against train companies which specifically offer Cross-Border services into other (EU) countries, yet only have websites in the local language. Yall can bitch and moan about the Deutsche Bahn, but you obviously dont know how bad the service is in some other countries.

Sadly the condition of Schloss Hennersdorf is not isolated example - many manors, villas and castles east of the Neisse river didnt fair very well after 1945. Hard to believe that it was in use until the late 1950s...

Ist doch eher der Öbb geschuldet oder? Bis nach Salzburg kannste ja buchen. Die Tickets von Salzburg nach Bad Gastein sind aber über die ÖBB noch nicht verfügbar.

Going through some images from my last few tours in Poland, one thing I've noticed is the sheer amount of illegal trash dumping in forests and abandoned historical structures. It's not uncommon in Germany either, but it's like on a whole different scale in Poland.
