there’s been a handful of TTYD-likes on steam but this is definitely the most wholly realized and aligned with the tone and style of its inspiration, at least so far. Also enjoying that its combat system is immediately adding more complexity than TTYD has in its early sections.

Escape from Ever After is very cute so far! They have nailed the silly and witty TTYD writing tone in the first couple hours.

I should clarify I’ve been 24/7 for many years. I just recently started having an absolutely no potty allowed rule.

In my early 20s I was part of shallow friend groups who would constantly be saying nasty shit about others and being smug and conceited about their superiority. End of the day this made me neurotic about stupid shit that didn’t matter, and it took time for me to heal from. Don’t recommend it!

Spending life with people who are unkind, jealous, cruel, self-absorbed etc. will make you adopt the same traits.

Reflect on who and what is influencing you. Surround yourself with people who want to see each other grow and prosper.

Also this has never happened to me before. The game very politely offers to let you run the stadium challenge with NPCs, while guaranteeing you’ll get a victory on your record even if your lose to the NPCs, if you’re bummed to not get to play.
