I have learned to only gift little treasures to people who will love them and use them.

Photo of several small repurposed jam jars with a beeswax colored substance in them. Many jars have cheerful gingham lids. There are labels on most of them. Two containers have no lid, and the balm inside is still cooling.

I love making balms but took a break for a few years. I grow calendula, so this is almost mandatory for me to do.
Love the smell of beeswax and lavender. These are mostly calendula infused castor and/or olive oil, beeswax, and lav essential oil. Two also have arnica oil i bought.

A wage scale with a bunch of numbers

This is OHSU's wage scale. They compete for the same nurses as Kaiser here in the Portland metro. I would make over $10 more AN HOUR if I quit and worked there instead. Instead of offering competitive wages, KP sits on tens of billions of dollars, buys up other healthcare orgs, CEO makes $7211/hour.
