Let me get this straight: if ever I am called to testify in court, I can just bring in a book of insults w/ me that I can refer to @ the people questioning me. I can talk over them & instead of replying, I can talk about anything I want. And they can’t do a damn thing to me because of my behavior.

Just finished reading #StephenKing book, THE DEAD ZONE for the third. First time I read it was shortly after it came out in 1979 or 1980. Last time was 9 years ago and I found the theme was somehow familiar. This time I realized King is really prescient.
