I’ve had a lot of jobs where you only get paid when you actually work hourly, and losing two to three days in February could take a big chunk out of my pay. But the national holidays are what killed me. Hence the importance of diversifying. Have you started your Siamese cat sitting side gig yet ?

We used that as the theme song on a strike I helped run in 2003. It was appropriate for a strike.

I have a “couch” that is quite uncomfortable to sit on but makes a great scratching post. Once I move I will get a couch that is both scratchable and sitable. Whenever that is.

You moved furniture? Without her purrmission? That thing she is holding onto looks like it would be delightful to sharpen claws on. We love to sharpen our claws.

The leap year is nothing but a scam perpetrated on salaried employees. You would really notice if the calendar slipped by 21 days over the course of a lifetime?

There should be a leap month every 120 years instead. And it should be a house party with no rules.

I’ll admit I’m confused by this. Do you pour the water over the coffee grounds? What does this do? It seems to defeat the purpose of letting the coffee maker do the work. Does it make the coffee better? How does this bring about peace in the Middle East?
