I do think part of that may be the aversion to Substack that is more noticeable or talked about here on Bluesky. I follow a lot of journalists/writers/activists and try to support where I can but I draw a hard line at clicking on/engaging/paying for Substack links/subscriptions

Also as an introvert I do genuinely hate talking to/socializing with strangers. It takes a long time for me to get to the point where I will willingly start or engage in conversations with people. I think it’s hard to understand an introvert’s mentality if you’re an extrovert and vice versa

Not always true! As an extreme introvert I love making plans with friends but have no idea what the intervening days will do to my social battery and inevitably am fried when said plans arrive and I genuinely am happy to stay home and do nothing if there’s an unexpected cancellation

Just saw this after I added the shoe museum myself! We just went in June and it was a lot of fun

The Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto! Fun look at the history of shoes with rotating special exhibits. When we went they were on shoes as art, the role of shoes in crimes and cowboy boots. Everyone really enjoyed it!
