And I assume you expect that to go up further as a shorter term fix over longer term planning?

I guess my question is that do you think the reality is that there is some place for private provision supporting the NHS and that is why Tory, Lib/Tory and Labour all use private health in the NHS? I think there must be many examples of this as good practice for patients and the NHS?

Hi Harry, genuine question. I always find the line that ‘the Tory’s will privatise the NHS’ odd given that this hasn’t happened despite the majority of the NHS being under Tory Governments. Then Labour Governments under Blair and now introduce billions of private health into the NHS.

Windy weekend with still some to come. Many thanks to the Local Authorities, small businesses (like Dan who I helped) and Farmers who have responded to emergencies cleared roads and dealt with fallen trees. All who have fallen victim of @UKLabour budget and its tax hikes!

This is a very disappointing result for our farming community. If a proposal has an obvious benefit to the majority or our country or raising a good sum of money I would understand it and possibly support it. But this offers no benefits and very little money. Is so incredibly damaging to communities

Scrapping this funding to rural councils to give it to city councils who already have higher funding and tax revenue is unbelievable. Rural councils like mine are already struggling to balance the books. I’m shocked at how cruel this Government is.

Petition: Call a General Election I would like there to be another General Election. I believe the current Labour Government have gone back on the promises they laid out in the lead up to the last election.

I’m really enjoying @bsky.app and the more positive vibe it has. Different opinions and arguments, yes. But generally a more respectful affair. Just like this post. Why is that I wonder. Is it me, the platform and the tech behind the scenes or both? What’s your first impressions?

Very sad to hear this news. Whatever you think of Political views you can always respect the Political figures of our country. John was one of those who rightly deserves to be remembered as one of the greats.
