Äänestäjät eivät kokeneet pervoilua kouluissa kuntien ja alueiden päivänpolttavimpana ongelmana etenkään liian monen ehdokasvalinnan osoittauduttua turhan kinkyksi.

Stock markets across the world are falling dramatically. 2008 comes to mind. EU and developed Asian economies will be the first to recover, because there is no Trump leading them. American stocks will also suffer the most, because their valuation grew a lot under Biden while others were undervalued.

I have absolutely no problem with non-MAGA Americans, but I think maybe 40 % of Americans still like Trump? Well that may change, because many people are losing their retirement savings right now. :/ Hope Trump's pseudoeconomics will lead to his downfall.

The priority for Finland is to avoid Russian aggression and remain independent. Only bad alternatives are immediately available in the increasingly dangerous situation. If a strong European defense alliance will emerge, there will be no need for Stubb to lick anyone's ass, be it Trump or Putin.

Signalgate makes all European political leaders look very competent. Russia and China must have unrestricted access to U.S. classified information now, they are not dumb. The Trump team is making everyone except America great.

Homer Simpson is way more competent at the nuclear plant than these guys leading a superpower.

I can't travel to Russia any time soon because I am critical (to put it mildly) towards Putin. Now I might also be denied entry to the United States. Good to know. No-one was interested in my political opinions when I went to Laos, Vietnam, the United Arab Emirates and Zimbabwe!

The SCOTUS already granted Trump immunity from prosecution - he is above the law. What can be done? Are there any checks and balances left in the U.S.?

Chief Justice John Roberts is showing remorse for granting Trump immunity from prosecution. What was SCOTUS thinking? :D A president with unchecked power makes the judicial system useless just like in Russia. I don't feel sad for the pro-Trump judges, but for ordinary Americans I do.

The U.S. is now attacking the friend (Houthi movement of Yemen) of the friend (Iran) of its former enemy, current friend Russia. I think the American government is doing this with the permission of the enemy (Saudi Arabia) of Russia's friend (Iran).

International relations have turned complicated.

Hyviä pohdintoja. Eipä haittaa Nesteen tuskien taival jos on varautunut pitämään osakkeista kiinni 20 vuotta tai enemmän...

Ehkä PS voisi saada Venäjältä isomman lainan Teslan ostamiseen ja lahjoittamiseen jokaiselle jäsenelle.

Vaatimus yksimielisyydestä on muutenkin järjetön ja avaa rajattomat kiristysmahdollisuudet yksittäisille häirikkövaltioille. Päätöksiä olisi hyvä voida tehdä ennen kuin yhtäkään EU-maata kohtaa välitön sodan uhka...

Investors need some predictability. A chaos like this scares them away. European stock markets are more promising because no European country is under the control of Trump-Vance-Musk (even though they may think otherwise).

To us, it really looks like the US is willing to sacrifice all of its international allies (except maybe Israel) for Trump's murky relationship with Putin. The Republicans just seem to like authoritarian governments and dictators. A huge and very dangerous shift in international relations.

Melania is from Slovenia. Slovenia is seen as a normal European country; Slovakia and Hungary are the pro-Trumputin troublemakers.

According to Trump, it is easier to negotiate with Russia than with Ukraine. Putin's propagandist-in-chief Peskov is now saying that Russia will seek a military solution instead of a negotiated peace.

Earlier, Peskov said that Trump's foreign policy aligns with Russian goals.

This is not normal.

Trump has to be really deranged and extreme, because Marine Le Pen, Nigel Farage and Giorgia Meloni are now against him.

Joo, sama hurmos riippumatta puheen asiasisällöstä. Puhehan sisälsi samoja vanhoja valheita, jotka on debunkattu jo monta kertaa, mutta kannattajille Trumpin sana on totuus. Stalinin puhuessa kukaan ei uskaltanut lopettaa aplodeerausta ensimmäisenä. Tuntui tämäkin toistuvan nyt kongressissa. :P

Great. Europe shouldn't bow to Kremlin, it shouldn't bow to the White House.

JD Vance strongly opposes all European efforts to support Ukraine, calls UK "some random country that hasn't fought a war in 30 years".

US is going to suffer a major reputational blow and face long-lasting distrust in intl relations - thanks to the people who voted for pro-Russians extremists.

Zelensky has no reason to trust the Trump team. If he wanted to make "peace" with Putin by giving Ukraine to him, he would "negotiate" directly with Putin. Trump isn't needed for anything.

The situation really reminds me of the 1920s and 1930s in Europe. Widespread disillusionment led many people to embrace fascism. They thought they were making their nations great again... but ended up destroying everything that had been built. I wish all decent Americans the power to resist.

Miten EU pääsisi eroon Putinia myötäilevistä Unkarista ja Slovakiasta? Noiden valtioiden johto on nähdäkseni suorastaan Euroopan turvallisuutta vastaan.

Europeans have today decided to resist the new Molotov-Ribbentrop pact promoted by the Trump team & Putin. :) America is accidentally making Europe strong again - contrary to what Elon Musk would have liked.

I would love to know: do Trump and Vance view their foreign policy as a huge success? Friends have been alienated by threats and bully tactics, worldwide trust in the U.S. is sinking, Russia has been embraced. Is this what they always wanted or are they just unable to control their impulses?

Thanks for your activity! Are there many Trump voters who already regret? It is obvious that many will, but I think acknowledging such serious mistakes can be slow.

What's the most important thing: are there any Republicans in Congress who still openly disagree with Trump on foreign policy??
