Rather than providing “clarity”, this ruling and the EHRC interim update are causing confusion, uncertainty and fear. They have also given strength to the authoritarian, sexist campaign for the persecution and ostracism of trans women. Trans, non-binary and intersex people – including bookworkers – are facing exclusion from basic aspects of public life.

fyi i speak cantonese! it's very different from the (currently official) written chinese! i also switched to writing fully in english since i was 14 or something. funny how you return...

i'm writing an essay in chinese & translating some english poems for it. i felt nauseous when i started and really joyous as the momentum picked up. it's been 14 years since i last wrote a chinese essay & this time i'm not doing it for school! will work on grammar later but let me be excited for now
