It’s sooo good! Shavonda Gardner refers to the ceiling as the fifth wall and I have adopted that whole heartedly! It’s such a vibe!

Finally got around to shellacing the banister - Douglas fir, just like the treads. Four coats in four hours and it looks awesome. Plus a coat of paint on the spindles, newel post, and skirting. REAL close the finishing this one up!
