I remember queueing up early in the morning for concert tickets at the Harvard Sq Tower. Fun times.

Originally had โclosest front lawnโ ticket (best non-VIP) at Suffolk Downs and it cost $121 all in. Dunno if that falls into โtoo expensiveโ territory for a 78-year-old icon (who can honestly bring it pretty darn well, all things considered), but there were cheaper tickets to be had too.
06.10.2025 14:24 โ ๐ 3 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1Can confirm. Balcony (where I was) was pretty full, but floor had plenty of room. Show was moved (originally at The Stage @ Suffolk Downs instead of Roadrunner) and Frank Carter Sings With The Sex Pistols dropped off the bill due to Steve Jones breaking his wrist, so maybe those things impacted it.

Saw David Byrne over the weekend. WOW. If you can, go see his show. It will lift you up psychically, I promise.

Over on ILX, another #JDTwitch story was shared, namely this 2016 piece on his love for Arthur Russell, celebrating his life and music, and saying "You are the best friend I ever had whom I never got to meet." Keith's work with Optimo and beyond will do that for others in turn, yet to come.
