Same neighborhood, but further down the street, not in that building.

I remember queueing up early in the morning for concert tickets at the Harvard Sq Tower. Fun times.

Originally had โ€œclosest front lawnโ€ ticket (best non-VIP) at Suffolk Downs and it cost $121 all in. Dunno if that falls into โ€œtoo expensiveโ€ territory for a 78-year-old icon (who can honestly bring it pretty darn well, all things considered), but there were cheaper tickets to be had too.

Can confirm. Balcony (where I was) was pretty full, but floor had plenty of room. Show was moved (originally at The Stage @ Suffolk Downs instead of Roadrunner) and Frank Carter Sings With The Sex Pistols dropped off the bill due to Steve Jones breaking his wrist, so maybe those things impacted it.

Saw David Byrne over the weekend. WOW. If you can, go see his show. It will lift you up psychically, I promise.

Was a great show! Shame on me for not knowing about them and their former bands ahead of time - would have had an even more in-depth chat with them at the merch table. Loved Electrelane, still love Wire.

I last saw them in 1993 at the Middle East Downstairs with Unrest. My favorite band of the 1990s - so glad they reformed and recorded new material, but especially glad they came to play again.

Dear Arthur Russell: Your Music Changed My Life JD Twitch of Optimo fame pens a letter to the late, great American cellist, composer, singer and musician Arthur Russell.

Over on ILX, another #JDTwitch story was shared, namely this 2016 piece on his love for Arthur Russell, celebrating his life and music, and saying "You are the best friend I ever had whom I never got to meet." Keith's work with Optimo and beyond will do that for others in turn, yet to come.

Dems don't understand. Sargent is right. You have to attack Disney/ABC. You have to threaten Disney/ABC. You have to tell them they will be punished. You have to describe the punishment. You have to go on Stephanopolous and tell him he should be ashamed and resign.
