Did you know that people receiving a #disability pension in Australia do not have marriage equality? We cannot get married without risking decrease to our payments, which are already at, if not below the poverty line. If your partner works you can lose it altogether.

The stigma around #ADHD #medication still exists. I have spoken to many parents of ADHD kids who hesitate to try meds because they are scared to be seen 'taking the easy option'. No. If your child had diabetes would you deny them insulin because maybe their pancreas just needs to work a bit harder?

I wish disabled people weren’t viewed as invisible. I wish people respected & listened to us.

Perhaps if they did - more folks would be masking and demanding clean air.

More people would be proactively protecting their health because they would realize they won’t be the exception.

I'm very much in favour of out and proud but I know that doesn't work for everyone and not should it have to. Totally up to you my friend!
