This is all horribly bad and giving up some titles does nothing to lessen the horrific consequences victims endured.

Answers on a postcard. Farage - who is currently in line to be the next Prime Minister of the UK - won't explain this mounting ties to a hostile foreign power. We need more investigation and public inquiry before its too late 12/12

It tells you everything you need to know about conservatives here and in the USA.
07.10.2025 16:17 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0All those Conservatives trying to copycat MAGA/ Trump to try and be relevant is a huge embarrassment and surely puts that party under an even greater existential treat than it already is.
07.10.2025 09:37 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0I have been away from social media for some months and had a look at X. What a cesspit, yuk.
Glad to be back here, though, it's more or less as Twitter used to be.
"What goes in the basket is constantly changing and can reflect different parts of your life, experience, aspiration, your choice. Identity is not just about ethnicity"
I spoke to Labour peer Shami Chakrabarti about flags and fixed identity, and why she thinks comparisons to the 1930s are valid ๐
You are rightly concerned about how far the far right is normalised. I think it is partial the Trump effect. Politics today is chaos. Extremists thrive on that.
There are, of course, many other reasons.
Yes, I can see that and as a consequence cannot see it grow much. It is a typical echo chamber.
X has also become more and more a place for the right to collaborate, partly due to manipulated algorithms.
9% popularity is not all that high. It is so far not a major player in the UK.

Perhaps declare it a fascist free zone.
With all the nonsense going on to do with Trump's crazy tariffs let's concentrate on the thing that matter.
Palestinian statehood is long overdue.
Get your MP to sign.
That's much better news than all the contra-productive tariff nonsense.
28.07.2025 12:39 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0All the EU and others do is to give Trump something he can bragg about. Anything will do.
It's all it needs.
I think Trump targeting Obama is dumb, even as a way to distract.
We know Trump is not the brightest, but still. This could cost him.

23.07.2025 20:47 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0Back in April, Byline Times raised the issue that no lessons seem to have been learned after last summer's riots. The Government did not say an inquiry was underway.
As agitation & discussion begins again, why didn't Westminster's media-political class keep this on the agenda? The water we swim in.

Trump will do absolutely anything to stay in power so the USA may just as well expect some sort of civil war.

If 'only' for the sake of all the victims I sincerely hope this will finally be the undoing of the convicted criminal Trump.
The USA can then start healing.

Of course it will be a super power. If you care little about something your stress levels drop, allowing your brilliance to shine.

Not necessarily for this but for him being a criminal full stop.

Someone needs to lay into the BBC for not exposing Farage.
More folk need to do the same.
