No. A wealth tax won't solve everything. No one ever said it will.

But until we begin to challenge the power & wealth of the 1% - then we know this Labour government has been bought and paid for.

I don't think it's about those jobs being beneath people necessarily, they have just been historically poorly paid roles. The work is difficult in terms of physicality and emotion and the pay is poor.

The countless u-turns performed by Starmer, the sluggish economy, questionable taxation strategies and now identification cards, I can see why they are unpopular. I'm glad I didn't vote for them, I'd be thoroughly disappointed.

I think it's the pace at which this government has become so unpopular.

Which is why I stated that where no drivers licence or passport is available, an id card could be justified. 🤷🏾‍♂️

If we have driver licences and passports, why would we need these? I agree that where there are no passports or driver licences, an ID card would help but unless that's the case, I can't see the need.
