Instead of not joining our communities where they are?? Instead of opting out because people observing the boycott may be green? Like people are here, we can critique the strategy while still showing up for each other just a thought

strategy and tactics are sooo important when organizing. And when so much of the online world has chosen to participate in action wouldn’t it be way more strategic to join in or find ways to make the place where everyone’s eyes and hearts are more effective?

I just think some people being arrogant about the effectiveness of today’s boycott do not organize with compassion in their heart for others but instead to always be self-righteous

For the record, do I think a one-day boycott is going to make much of an economic impact? No. Do I think that a sort of "Baby's First Boycott," performative though it is, might be useful to make some folks aware of the impact of their economic power, and how it might be wielded politically? Maybe.
