I made a few new decks during some PTO. The one I think will actually stick around is Sauron, Lord of the Rings.

Yeah’s he’s expensive. But in bracket 2 (and even bracket 3) he gives you so much board presence. A 9/9 trampler, 5/5 orc army, and a reanimate. Plus Orc and Reanimate are cast trigger!

I had a lot of fun with Tana and various partners to turn giant growths into saplings and dead opponents.

Built a new deck today. Played the new deck today. The new deck is not close to where I want it.

Rohgahh, Kher Keep Overlord was really fun, but I was always behind.

Mana base investment is always good for new players. You always need good lands to cast spells.

A separate spit for food. Like you’re in something like a big dining room with the central table which is big and comfy chairs. Ideally a spot on both sides of the room to put plates and drinks and stuff so it’s easy reach but no danger of spilling. Works for cards, board games, RPGs.

When I worked at a university, students and staff refused to believe I could wrap presents at an event until they tested me. Wild.

Is it weird to like wrapping presents? Weirder still- wrapping is like gendered??? People are always fucking blown away that I, a man with a beard and..idk man hands or some shit… can wrap a present neatly. With little excess paper, tucking the corners all neat.

While the worlds championships are in Bellevue this weekend, Mox Bellevue has the Not-Quite-Worlds Team Trios today! The event sold out and we have the Pathfinder ECC event too. It’s going to be a big gaming day at work.

I’m so happy all our prereleases are sold out. It’s a good sign for drafts and the upcoming standard “season” doing well. Holidays will always throw a wrench but I’ll take these wins for the store.

My family hates my man bun too! My mom, brother, and sister. But I love it and my wife loves it, so we keep rocking the bun.

I used to referee soccer at the rec complex, one of the other refs told me about this game he played. I had a million questions and got hooked once my brother and I played using the 7th ed starter with the comic to teach you.

Heck yeah is it! I’ve gained over 30 life with this in 60 card multiplayer back in college.

People responding to Wumping the Table has me thinking about making a stupid deck to pull it off. Like BW with Thrashing Wumpus and Pestilence Demon.
