Great to be out with @rowennadavis.bsky.social this morning, our hardworking candidate to be Mayor of Croydon. Then I joined the dedicated Sutton Labour team for a session this afternoon ahead of the vital elections this May.

The scenes of violence against protestors in Iran have been truly horrific, and my heart goes out to them.

We must work to hold the Iranian regime accountable for its human rights violations, and I have asked the Government what it is doing to achieve this.

The internet offers incredible opportunities, but online safety, especially for our children, is paramount. Over the past days, many have contacted me about a social media ban for under-16s.

The reports coming out of Iran are harrowing. Thousands have been killed while bravely protesting for their fundamental human rights.
