I’m noting that the LA Times is one of a few putting coverage of No Kings above the fold. Millions turned out and we got a light mention. Back in ‘09, it only took 3 clowns in tricorn hats to dominate the news nonstop. Very lopsided.

The American Visionary Art Museum has some remarkable exhibits.

We had Left Sharks, a rhinoceros, frogs, chickens and ducks, rainbow unicorn, several T-rexes, and lots of those things that look like you’re riding something. They make you laugh with the absurdity.

The iconic symbol of this time will be the inflatable costumes that mock the state. They want blood in the streets. And this is driving them mad:

I’m having a Murphy bed installed in the guest room. The idea is that when not in use, the bed will be out of the way and the room can be used for other purposes. Getting all the pieces up two flights of stairs was amusing.

My crew thought we were pretty cool. The other kids didn’t share that opinion.

I’m pretty sure something happened with my family name in 1917 at Ellis Island. Our name was simplified to align more with English phonetics. Fine with me. It’s a Polish name.
