Blooming marvellous for 17 years' old and clicking your teeth is a great party trick. My boy, Parker, manages really well with no teeth. He happily manages to eat Dreamies and is able to hunt (unfortunately), but most importantly he is not in pain anymore.

Hewo Remy. Pleased to meet you. Now, I'm no dentist, but those are fabulous dazzlers (teeth). My cat lost all his teeth (stolen by the nasty vets) when he was three years' old because he and his sister had very painful tooth (root) resorption. So I always notice a glorious set of gnashers. 😁😸

A year ago today this little lady, Mollie passed away. Mollie-Pops was a sweet, gentle soul who I met when volunteering at a cat rescue. I fell for her the minute I saw her - there was something magical about her. Happily, I brought Mollie and her brother home. It was the best thing I ever did.

I've been bossed around by 8 cats in my time. Sadly, only one of them is still alive. I love the way they make you work for their affection, even after they've be fed and bribed with Dreamies. Yet, they can be the sweetest little things for no obvious reason. Enjoy your little furry neighbour.

Completely agree. I bought a vacuum flask, one small enough stand upright in a medium sized bag when I had to take a one hour bus journey to and from work. That was 9 years' ago and I still use the same one when I go out for the day and train journeys.

Oooh, very nice. Make the most of that, if it's your thing. I once listened to a Republica gig whilst sat in the comfort of my own garden, with no toilet queues and very reasonably priced beer and snacks on tap.

So, will it mean I can finally find an NHS dentist accepting new patients in my area or are the capacity / staffing shortages being kicked into the long grass in order to promote 'digital' gimmicks? Digital will mean my mum will be excluded (again) as no online access or capability to use it.

My primary and secondary school both had libraries and that was whilst Thatcher was in charge. I didn't realise this wasn't a standard facility any more. I agree that public libraries should be properly funded and easily accessible to all.

They look like it's the middle of Summer - how wonderful. My daliahs and chrysanthemums are going through a second wind too. The only plants that have gone over are the sweet peas, sadly.
