Yes, I agree with that. I read Frankenstein a few years ago and felt terribly sad for the monster, who wasn't a bit like I expected.

I've had to mute a few words on Bluesky, as it's becoming like Twitter. 😢 So sad, as it used to be much less political. It was inevitable, but it's a shame.

I love Shute's writing. I haven't read this one yet though. 🙂

I'm an avid reader and read to, and in front of my children, a lot but neither of them are readers despite this. 🤷🏻‍♀️
